Dr. Ajit Korgaokar

Assistant Professor
Ajit Korgaokar, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Health & Human Performance department at the University of Tennessee at Martin and the Director of Coaching for Jackson Futbol Club in Tennessee.  He has presented and published research on dynamic stretching, caffeine supplementation and agility, and the relative age effect among youth soccer players. He is the Chair of Coaching Education of the Sport & Leisure Division of Southern District AAHPERD. In addition, Ajit has worked in the US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program for Tennessee, North Carolina and Alabama, is a previous member of the US Youth Soccer ODP Region III staff, and is a former state Director of Coaching for Tennessee. He is currently a member of the Tennessee Soccer Coaching Education staff and teaches the ‘E’ and ‘D’ licenses. 

Ajit played at Rollins College and also played for the Orlando Lions (ASL) and Colorado Comets (USISL).  He has also been a former college assistant coach and a head coach in the PDL. He holds the USSF ‘A’, NSCAA Premier, NSCAA Director of Coaching and the USSF Youth National License coaching qualifications.
