U.S. Olympic Committee
Director of Coaching Education

Chris Snyder is the Director of Coaching Education for the United States Olympic Committee. His department works with NGBs, coach educators and U.S. National Team coaches to identify best practice and work to close gaps in coaching development, coach engagement and system quality. The coaching department does various research projects to better understand the coaching culture in the us, and looks to identify trends that might impact our athletes in the future.  The USOC’s coaching department also has various resources, content and conferences that look to drive coaching education forward in the US.

Snyder has been coaching competitive sports for more than 13 years at various levels of play and continues to coach high school sports and travel club in the summers. Previously, Chris served as the Manager of Coaching Education and Training for US Lacrosse in Baltimore, Md.
