Kentucky Youth Soccer
Technical Director

Adrian has been the Kentucky Youth Soccer Technical Director since September 2005. In this role, he is responsible for the Coaching Education Program and the management of the US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program, U-9 Academy Programs, State League Technical Director and general coach and player development programs in the Bluegrass state.

Prior to this appointment, he was the Director of Coaching for Amherst Soccer Association in Buffalo, N.Y., in addition to the head US Youth Soccer ODP coach and Coaching Education Instructor for New York State West Youth Soccer Association. In 2000, Parrish moved to the United States where he served as the National Assistant Director of Coaching for Britannia Soccer USA and as the Director of Coaching for Great Falls Soccer Club in the Washington D.C., metro area. Prior to moving the United States, Parrish played extensively at the youth level with Boston United (formally English Conference league). After sustaining injuries attempting to break through as a player in the professional ranks, Adrian opted to remain in the game by starting his coaching career. One of his first appointments included serving as the Grimsby Town Football Club Youth Development Officer and Assistant Youth Development Officer.

A native of Louth, England, Parish currently possesses a USSF “A” License, UEFA “B” License, and the US Youth Soccer National Youth License. In addition to his role with Kentucky, Adrian is currently on the US Youth Soccer ODP Region II Boys staff, a USSF National Coaching, a US Youth Soccer National Instructor and recently stepped down as the Region II Coaching Chair. He also manages to find the team to coach his son’s U-11 select team at Bluegrass SC in Versailles, Ky.
