SESSION OVERVIEW:
With the player development initiative from U.S. Soccer taking full effect over the next two years, the youth soccer landscape will change on game day with small-sided games. We’ll discuss the new laws of the game for Zone 1 and logistics for fields, goals, referees and coaches. We’ll touch on how SSG fit the players and not the other way around. We’ll go over tactics in SSG for these age groups. We’ll finish with highlights of the continuum that SSG provides in a player development curriculum.
